HARLiC Card Information

The HARLiC card allows persons served by one library in the HARLiC consortium to have borrowing privileges at the others. The HARLiC card allows eligible persons served by one library in the HARLiC consortium to have borrowing privileges at the others. Each HARLiC institution establishes eligibility requirements. Ask at the Circulation Desk of the library for which you have a valid library card. If you are eligible, you will be issued a HARLiC card, at no charge. HARLiC cards expire on May 31, no matter when issued. You may be asked to register at those libraries when you visit them, as well as to present photo identification.

Cardholders must borrow and return materials in person. They may be asked to register at the other libraries, and to present suitable identification in addition to the HARLiC card. Cardholders are subject to the service policies of the other libraries. They are personally responsible for all fines, charges, fees or other costs they may incur.

For more information, contact the Circulation Department of your own library.
