SciFinder Scholar (2007 Edition)

• In order to access the Chemical Abstracts Service, SciFinder Scholar 2007 must be installed on your computer. This is a graphical client interface designed to link to the Chemical Abstracts Service. SciFinder Scholar 2007 runs on the PC (Microsoft Windows 98/2000/ME/NT/XP) and Macintosh (PPC) platforms.
• Follow these instructions to install or upgrade on a computer running Microsoft Windows.
• If you would like to use SciFinder Scholar on your Mac, please contact us for information.

Please note:

• SciFinder Scholar can only be used from a computer within the TMC Educational Network.
• This resource is not available for remote access from home or outside the TMC Educational Network.

First time installation:

Upgrading from a previous version:

Follow the instructions above, but note that, if you originally installed SciFinder in a different directory, you will need to install the upgrade to that same directory.
